NSL, in collaboration with the London Borough of Brent, has expanded the use of electric bicycles to further improve parking enforcement and sustainability efforts in the borough. Initially launched with just two e-bikes, the deployment has now grown by an additional six, enhancing the ability to efficiently address non-compliance and support joint operations.
The use of e-bikes brings a range of benefits:
- Rapid response to parking issues: Officers can now respond more swiftly to complaints and queries, improving overall service levels.
- Improved enforcement during major events: With Wembley Stadium located in the borough, the increased fleet ensures a stronger enforcement presence during high-traffic events.
- Support for joint operations: The e-bikes enable teams to collaborate with key stakeholders, including the police and local environmental agencies, to address non-compliance in problem areas.
- Greater coverage for schools: Enhanced mobility allows officers to monitor and patrol school zones more effectively, ensuring safety around educational institutions.
- A greener future: By using electric bicycles, NSL and Brent are committed to reducing emissions and promoting environmentally friendly initiatives across the borough.
This initiative highlights our joint commitment to innovation and sustainable urban solutions, improving services while contributing to a greener, more efficient future for residents.
