Project Centre is pleased to announce that it has been re-awarded the Thurrock contract. The Highways and Bridge Authority of Thurrock has a requirement for an annual management of bridges and design services. This contract is a renewal of our previous professional services. It provides an opportunity to further extend our relationship with Thurrock Council.
In partnership with Thurrock Council, we will continue to develop an asset management strategy and provide structural inspection. This will include general and principal inspections of the council’s highway structures and 24-hour emergency call out cover in the event of bridge strike or other damage affecting the highway. We will also carry out abnormal load routing checks on the routes proposed by hauliers with re-routing if necessary due to bridge capacity. We also expect several larger renewals, refurbishment and maintenance design schemes and structural assessments throughout the duration of the contract.
