the London Borough of Newham awarded us a four-year long Highways Professional Services contract!
The services will focus around the maintenance and design of Newham’s streets and public areas. The council understands that residents, businesses and visitors all have experiences shaped by the design and layout of the area. They believe that the maintenance and improvement of quality roads will fully benefit those who interact with Newham most.
These works are part of the ‘Keep Newham Moving’ programme, focused on delivering a more accessible and inclusive neighbourhoods. We are excited to bring our experience of improving public space with sustainable and innovative design, as well as our extensive knowledge of road safety and design development.
This also comes in the wake of providing social value to the area with an employability workshop. We hosted it as part of HeadStart Action, a personal and social development programme for young people, and Groundwork who organise communities to combat poverty and preserve the environment. We provided training for young students so that they will be ready to make their entrance into the working world.
