Project Centre’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Group (EDI) will be hosting a series of talks and presentations by a number of high-profile speakers throughout the year. This is part of an ongoing commitment to raising the importance of EDI across Project Centre and the industry sector as a whole.
Our first guest speaker is Grace Moronfolu MBE, Chair of the National Black Crown Prosecution Association (NBCPA). This is a Black Asian & Minority Ethnic (BAME) staff network of the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) with over 500 members. She is also Deputy Chair of the Civil Service Race Forum (CSRF), which is a collaborative group of Civil Service BAME staff networks working towards advancing diversity and equality for ethnic minorities in the Civil Service, partner organisations and its arms-length bodies.
Grace’s passion for inclusion is evident in all aspects of her career. She is currently Inclusion & Community Engagement Manager for CPS East Midlands where she manages three CPS East Midlands public engagement panels that campaign on issues such as hate crimes, violence against women and girls, social mobility and many more. She received her MBE in recognition of all the work she does for the community. Grace is also an Advisory Board Member to the Sister Sister Global Network, a registered social enterprise contributing to women’s empowerment.
