Our newly appointed Associate Director, Tina Glover MCIHT, attended the British Parking Association (BPA) regional meeting yesterday. Tina discussed about the latest updates on the Park Active project, which helps to build safer, healthier, and more sustainable ways of transportation.
In the same week as celebrating World Electric Vehicle (EV) Day, the BPA regional meeting included interactive workshops to discuss ideas and barriers to moving forward towards EVs.
“It was great to see the event so well attended and was a fantastic opportunity to share ideas and have discussions with colleagues and local authorities on the next steps to tackle the impact of pollution and Co2 emissions on the environment”.
Associate Director for Parking, Tina Glover
Our team is expert in providing extensive consultation to both private and public sector clients, helping to design and deliver schemes that promote green modes of travel which have a positive impact on the community and the environment.
Our EVs services
Project Centre has a dedicated electric vehicles (EV) team within our lighting and technology department. We have extensive expertise in developing data driven EV strategies and business cases, writing funding bids, site selection and screening, and fleet electrification assessments.
EVs are already in the mainstream and there is an urgent need to ensure that the supporting infrastructure is provided, especially where households lack access to off-street parking, so that the UK meets Net Zero targets. By carefully listening to our clients and their community, we design schemes that make EVs a natural choice for people conscious to combat air pollution and CO2 emissions.
Project Centre provides an integrated transport consultancy to both public and private clients across the country. We keep abreast of the latest developments in the EV infrastructure market and will ensure that schemes we work on locate the right charge point in the right place.
