Engage, a leading provider of field services to the public sector, energy and water sectors, is working with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) to carry out COVID-secure spot check visits.
As an approved and appropriately trained supplier, Engage’ agents will undertake spot check visits on business premises on behalf of the HSE and Local Authorities across England, Wales and Scotland. These checks will help to establish that businesses have taken the necessary steps to make their premises COVID-secure and implemented measures to reduce the transmission of coronavirus to protect workers, visitors and customers.
Engage spot check support officers will assist the HSE by speaking with the responsible person in each business to check the COVID-secure measures they have in place. Using HSE’s comprehensive guidelines they will also provide businesses with basic guidance and advice.
